Request for proposals

Project Scope: Sustainability is defined as meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. It is also described as the interconnection and balance between environmental health, social equity, and economic vitality. BioGals will support one community with $250 to implement a project that promotes sustainability in their community. Questions? Email us at info@biogals.com.

Timeline
February 17, 2021: Request for Proposals released
DEADLINE EXTENDED to May 16, 2021: Proposals due at 11:59pm Eastern time, USA
May 26, 2021: Awardee announced

Selection Criteria

  • All communities, within or outside of the United States, are eligible.

  • “Community” includes your neighborhood, town, or city with a population of at least 10 people.

  • The project must benefit at least 5 people in your community.

  • The project must be completed collaboratively. At least 3 people must be involved in implementing the project. 

 

Awardee Agreement

  • Awardees will receive $250 for their project. Awardees must submit a final report once their project is complete. 

  • Awardees must be willing to submit pictures and progress reports that may be shared on BioGals’ social media accounts and website.

  • Awardees will receive sustainability and engineering advice from BioGals to help complete the project.

Submission Instructions

  • Download and complete the application

  • Save your application as a PDF with the title “LastName_SCF2021” (ex: Smith_SCF2021)

  • Email your application to info@biogals.com with the subject “SCF Application 2021”
